Martin is qualified as a youth worker and youth arts practitioner from the University of Ireland, Dublin. He has over 10 years experience in community building through art projects. He is experienced in teaching/lecturing the history and application of mural painting and how to implement a community mural project. He has completed community mural projects in USA, Mexico, Netherlands, UK, Ireland, Greece, Palestine and Cuba.

Martin has created his own original non-commissioned murals in the USA, Mexico, Ireland, Germany and the Netherlands and continues to develop his own personal style. Martin began painting on walls as a graffiti writer in the early eighties in London and later got involved in the mural scene in California.

His influences are a mixture of graffiti / hip-hop, Harlem renaissance and Mexican mural movements.

Martin has had 15 years professional experience in specialist interior decorative painting including murals, trompe l’oeil, faux finishing and most paint finishes.

He worked with both the Racke and David Campbell studios in San Francisco for many prestigious clients including the owners of the San Francisco Giants.

Martin has worked as a scenic artist with Scenic Art Services for such clients as Euro Disney (Paris), Lego Land (Belgium), Living Coast (UK) Saturday Night Fever (UK) and others.
